Out of Water

The TRÄHOLM is craned out of water for the wintertime.

The underwater hull has not yet had an anti-fouling coating and has thus developed into a maritime habitat

The Season is Coming to the End


The TRÄHOLM is still floating in the eastern part of the marina.
Next Sunday, she comes out of the water

Test Drives on the Elbe River

 95 % of the hull speed has been reached at 2500 W motor power. The hull speed of the Träholm is 6.6 kn and has been reached at 3500 W. The maximum available motor power of the Torqeedo Cruise 4.0 RS is 4000 W.

Mounting the Bulb Slabs, Part II


Two out of the six M16x1 S/S-bolts are to short for screwing on a nut.

Special nut, machined from 20 mm diameter brass-rod and a reamed M14-nut

The brass-rod has been soldered into the reamed M14-nut

The 3 mm thick washer should distribute the pressure to the lead

All nuts tightened to a torque of 25 Nm

Finishing the Hull
